A firm believer in client-focused service, Brooks provides a level of real estate expertise that allows his clients to confidently make the right decisions about their homes or investment properties. With a practical background in marketing, finance, and real estate investment, and a formal education in pre-med and english composition, Brooks' combination of skills gives him the right tools to successfully communicate with clients and colleagues, to market homes to the public and other agents, and to negotiate the best possible purchase or sale for his clients. Careful analysis of specific client needs and the ability to execute that analysis to fruition are the hallmarks of Brooks' client relationships.
After graduating from the University of Washington and spending seven years in finance and marketing, Brooks became a full-time real estate professional in early 2004. He has honed his experience by working with corporate relocation clients, a process which has given him an even more intimate knowledge of the varied communities of King and Snohomish counties. Working with corporate transferees who must move their families into or out of the area on short notice is an intense and complex process which requires rapid response times, exceptional personal communication skills and transaction management capabilities, a broad and deep local knowledge base, and the ability to quickly perform high-quality research. Brooks is accredited by all major relocation companies, and serves clients at corporations such as Vulcan, Microsoft, Boeing, Pfizer, Honeywell, Philips, Swedish Hospital, REI, and many more. Brooks also has earned accreditation as a Certified Negotiation Expert, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, Accredited Staging Professional, and is corporate relocation certified, designations which further help him to provide outstanding service to his clients.
A life-long member of the Seattle/Eastside community, Brooks knows the area thoroughly and is aware of past, present, and future trends that may influence client needs and choices. He is a graduate of Bellevue High School and the University of Washington, where he was a four-year football player for the Huskies. He is a member for the Big W Club, an association of past University of Washington letter winners focused on building endowed scholarships and supporting the current student-athlete. He is an active supporter of various charities and non-profit organizations including the Bellevue Schools Foundation, American Cancer Society, Northwest Harvest, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Youth Care, World Vision, and Doctors Without Borders.
As a three-year varsity letterman for the University of Washington Football team, Brooks was not a star, but made the most of his God-given abilities thanks to an intense desire to compete and succeed. Described by his coach at the team's annual banquet his senior year as "the hardest working guy on this football team," Brooks brings that same level of desire and dedication to the work he does for his clients.
